Hello from Cleveland

Cooooold! That is my first comment about Cleveland.
We left Seattle on 2nd of January and drove all the way to Cleveland.
It tood 5 days across the country - about 2500 miles.

I just realized again that America is big and there are still many people
live in small cities. I started from Washington, went Montana, Wyoming,
South Dakota (we visited Mount Rushmore - it was great!), Minnesota,
Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana and Ohio.

What I discovered was there are still many places which do not have
any Japanese restaurants (I saw Chinese restaurants), and no Japanese
food available. So where I live is very special in the States.

I guess Americans used to live in Japan and came back to their small
cities, and trying to find some "Japan" things, but they find it difficult.
I talked to one guy who stationed in Japan and came back to his small
town, but looking for a Japanese mate, he could not find, I now understand
the reason.

I don't know how many Japanese women willing to live in such a small
cities without any Japanese people, but my impression was people are
still very friendly and nice.
